Omega Zero is a progressive metal band from Rome, founded in 2014. Guitarist Filippo Rosati and bassist Simone Arcari created the group with the intention of offering more than standard heavy‑metal intensity. They envisioned a band that paired powerful progressive metal with a strong narrative concept. Their debut story arc, Ocean Paradox – Part I, is the first chapter of a planned trilogy that introduces the band as both storytellers and musicians. Ocean Paradox – Chapter I was released on June 15, 2019. The lineup features Filippo Rosati on guitars, Simone Arcari on bass, Alessio Pascucci on drums, Andrea Germano on keyboards, and Flavio Marcello Troiso on vocals. Omega Zero combines heavy riff‑driven metal with cinematic, orchestral arrangements that create vivid, imaginative soundscapes. The opening track, “Lost World Overture,” sets the tone with dark, atmospheric keyboards and thunderous drumming, perfectly matching the dramatic cover art by Marco Tudini. The music evokes the feeling of massive creatures rising from the depths, moving in sync with the sweeping metal passages.
