Thomas Blug

Thomas Blug, born in 1966, is a German guitarist, composer, musical electronics engineer and designer. For many years he has been a prominent figure in both the German and international music scenes, known for his distinctive sound and technical mastery. In 1997 he received the title of “Best German Rock‑Pop Guitarist” from the Deutscher Rock Musik Verband. In 2004, during Fender’s celebration of the Stratocaster’s 50th anniversary, he won a Europe‑wide competition and was crowned the “Strat King of Europe.” Blug’s career spans studio work, live performance, product design and musical innovation. His combination of engineering expertise and artistic sensibility has made him a respected voice among guitarists and gear enthusiasts alike. At one point he even reached out personally, sending the message: “great site.”
