Markus K is a Dutch‑born musician who spent three decades in England before taking his music onto the streets of the world. Known for his guitar work, vocals, percussion skills, and mastery of looping, he blends original songs with bold reinterpretations of classic material. His influences range from blues to any music with genuine soul and emotional honesty. A strong believer in conscious living and inner peace, he often sums up his philosophy with the phrase: We Are All In This Together. His 2024 release LIVE with LOOPER No. 2 captures performances selected from more than fifty busking sessions across over fifteen countries between late 2022 and late 2023. The thirteen tracks represent the most compelling moments from those recordings. Markus cites JJ Cale, Daniel Lanois, Tony Joe White, Eric Clapton, and any artist who plays with real feel and originality as key inspirations.
