Monomyth is an instrumental rock band from The Hague, formed in 2011 and known for creating expansive, atmospheric soundscapes. The five‑piece group pushes the boundaries of space‑ and stoner‑rock, building long, immersive tracks driven by layered guitars, hypnotic rhythms and a strong sense of dynamics. After performing at major festivals such as Roadburn and Desertfest, the band entered a new phase in 2019 with the release of their fourth album, Orbis Quadrantis. On this record, Monomyth explores new musical territory while maintaining their characteristic open‑ended, psychedelic approach — a sound that sits somewhere between the experimental edge of Ariel Pink and the cinematic depth of Pink Floyd.
