Sensation’s Fix

Sensations’ Fix is an Italian progressive rock and electronic music ensemble led by Franco Falsini. Falsini, born in Italy, moved to Virginia in 1969, where he set up a basement studio and experimented with a Moog synthesizer and four‑track recording techniques. After this period of experimentation, he returned to Italy and formed the group. In 1974, Sensations’ Fix signed a five‑year, six‑album contract with Polydor Records. For many years, the band’s recordings were out of print. In 2011, the album Naso Freddo was reissued by the Spectrum Spools label. In 2012, RVNG Records released a compilation titled Music Is Painting in the Air (1974–1977), featuring reissued material, alternate mixes and previously unreleased tracks. Members: Franco Falsini, Keith Edwards, Richard Ursillo, Stephen Head.
