Kinga Glyk

Kinga Głyk, born in 1997, is a Polish bassist widely regarded as one of the most promising young musicians in the country’s jazz‑blues scene. She began performing at the age of 12 as part of her family group, the Głyk P.I.K. Trio, quickly attracting attention for her natural feel, technique, and musical maturity. Despite her young age, Kinga has already performed extensively both in Poland and abroad, appearing in countries such as Indonesia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine. Her debut album, “Rejestracja,” released in March 2015, received strong praise from outlets including Trójka – Polskie Radio, as well as magazines like Jazz Forum and Twój Blues. Today, Kinga Głyk is recognized as one of the leading bass voices of her generation, combining youthful energy with a deep understanding of jazz, blues, and groove‑based music.
