The Paradox Twin

The Paradox Twin is a British progressive‑rock and alternative‑metal band whose core lineup consists of Danny Sorrell (guitars, keyboards, vocals), Leland Freeman (guitars), Diane Fox (bass) and Rob McGregor (drums). Although the project had existed in various early forms since 2012, the group’s first official full‑length release is the album The Importance of Mr Bedlam. The album was released through White Star Records, the label founded by musician and producer John Mitchell (Frost*, Kino, Lonely Robot). Mitchell produced the record and also appears as a guest musician, giving the album a sonic character that reflects his distinctive production style. Additional guest contributions come from Kim Seviour (formerly of Touchstone), who appears on several tracks. The Paradox Twin blends elements of progressive rock, modern metal, cinematic sound design and melodic atmospheres. Their music often incorporates: layered guitars and keyboards, emotionally driven vocal lines, dynamic contrasts between heavy and ambient passages, conceptual storytelling. The band’s debut established them as a notable new voice within the UK progressive scene, combining accessible melodies with expansive, narrative‑driven arrangements.
