Dirty Loops

Dirty Loops are a band from Stockholm, Sweden, featuring Jonah Nilsson (keyboards, lead vocals), Henrik Linder (bass, backing vocals), and Aron Mellergård (drums, backing vocals). Their sound blends elements of jazz and jazz fusion, gospel, funk, electronica, pop, and disco, and they became widely known for their reharmonized, jazz‑fusion reinterpretations of mainstream pop hits. Among their most recognized covers are versions of Justin Bieber’s “Baby,” Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance,” and Avicii’s “Wake Me Up.” In 2016, they also recorded a new rendition of “Over the Horizon” for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Jonah and Henrik were childhood friends, and later met Aron when all three studied music together at Södra Latin in Stockholm. Their shared musical training and eclectic influences eventually led to the formation of Dirty Loops.
