Amber Gomaa

Amber Gomaa is a Dutch singer, songwriter, keyboardist and producer who gained national attention between 2013 and 2015 through performances at major festivals such as Lowlands, Pinkpop and North Sea Jazz. Beyond her vocal work, she is active as a multi‑instrumentalist and producer. Her debut EP, Sun Gazing, features six original songs written by Gomaa and co‑produced with Dutch artist Jett Rebel. In May 2014, Gomaa graduated cum laude from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Even before her studies, she had already built a reputation as a backing vocalist for Alain Clark, performing with him for several years. She later appeared on stage with a wide range of national and international artists, including Waylon, Giovanca, Syleena Johnson (US), Acda & De Munnik, Van Dik Hout, Van Velzen, Ryan Shaw (US), Larry Graham (US) and Jett Rebel. Her powerful voice and dynamic stage presence quickly made her a recognizable figure in the Dutch live music scene. As her solo career began to take shape, her first single “I Want It” received radio airplay, and she joined Jett Rebel as a support act, marking the start of a rapid rise in visibility. Alongside her work as a performer, Amber Gomaa founded The Amsterdam Vocal Academy, a vocal school for students of all ages. Although she no longer teaches there, she continues to oversee the school’s administration.
