JAY‑P, born Jan‑Peter Beijersbergen on May 31, 1969, is a widely respected guitarist known for both his studio work and live performances. In addition to playing guitar, he performs his own material as well as a broad range of covers. After completing his studies, he turned his passion for music into a full‑time career and built a fully equipped studio where he produces complete recordings from start to finish. Over the years, JAY‑P has contributed to hundreds of albums and taken part in numerous musical projects. He has also given product demonstrations and clinics for various brands. His dedication to sharing his expertise resulted in the creation of Lick It & Pick It, a textbook‑and‑CD package aimed at the more advanced and serious guitarist.
