Xavier Kurt Naidoo (German: [ˈkseːviɐ naɪˈduː]; born October 2, 1971) is a German soul and R&B singer, songwriter and record producer. He is a founding member of the German band Söhne Mannheims and established two record labels, Beats Around the Bush and Naidoo Records. Naidoo has also had a successful solo career. His debut album Nicht von dieser Welt (1998) sold over one million copies, and each of his next six albums — Zwischenspiel – Alles für den Herrn (2002), Telegramm für X (2005), Alles kann besser werden (2009), Danke für’s Zuhören (2012), Bei meiner Seele (2013) and Nicht von dieser Welt 2 (2016) — reached No. 1 on the German album charts. Most of his songs are in German, though he has also released some English‑language material. Naidoo has been the subject of multiple controversies due to the content of his songs, political statements, adherence to conspiracy theories, and the propagation of far‑right talking points, as well as the use of homophobic, antisemitic and racist tropes. He is also a climate change denier. Naidoo was born and raised in Mannheim to Catholic South African parents. His mother, a seamstress, was of Irish and Egyptian descent, while his father, a welder, was of Indian Tamil and German ancestry. Naidoo grew up in Mannheim’s Wallstadt district and sang as a choirboy during his childhood.
See for more.
Sie sieht mich nicht
Dieser Weg
Ich kenne nichts (das so schön ist wie du)
Schau nicht mehr zurück
Wo willst du hin
Halte durch
Wann
Was wir alleine nicht schaffen
Wage es zu glauben
Ich brauche dich
20.000 Meilen
Seine Straßen
Danke fürs Zuhören
