Frans Vollink is best described as a passionate full‑time music devotee whose work spans multiple roles in the industry. He is not only an in‑demand bassist, but also an active arranger and composer. As a producer, he spends much of his time in his studio, Het Atelier, where he records, mixes and masters a wide range of projects. Many of these productions have found their way onto physical releases, streaming platforms and both national and international radio. Vollink also teaches private lessons in Emmen through Music & Art, as well as at Muziekschool Midden‑Drenthe in Beilen. Versatility is a defining feature of his professional life. In 2013, together with keyboardist Coen Molenaar (known for his work with Tristan and Jan Akkerman), he founded his own label and publishing company, Isolde Records.
