Ibliss was a progressive, krautrock and jazz‑fusion band from the Rhineland region of Germany. Formed in 1971 as a five‑piece group, the lineup included former members of Kraftwerk and its earlier incarnation Organisation. The band recorded their sole album in Hamburg with the involvement of noted krautrock producer Conny Plank, whose studio work helped define the sound of the early German experimental scene. Ibliss remained active until 1973, after which the group disbanded. Although their career was brief, their music is regarded as a distinctive blend of rhythmic improvisation, jazz‑infused structures and the exploratory spirit typical of early 1970s German underground rock.
