Skerryvore

Skerryvore are a Scottish Celtic rock band formed in 2000 on the island of Tiree, Argyll and Bute, by Daniel Gillespie and Fraser West, who began performing ceilidh music together at local events. The band is named after the Skerryvore lighthouse, located 12 miles (19 km) off the coast of Tiree. Based today in Glasgow, Skerryvore have released six studio albums, a compilation album, and a live album. They have toured extensively throughout Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and China. Their early music drew heavily on traditional Scottish influences, while later work incorporated elements of rock, pop, jazz, Cajun, and country, reflecting the band’s evolving sound.
