He later achieved major success as a solo artist. His breakthrough came with the live album Frampton Comes Alive! Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with artists including Ringo Starr, John Entwistle, David Bowie, Joe Bonamassa, and Pearl Jam members Matt Cameron and Mike McCready. Frampton is known for signature songs such as “Show Me the Way”, “Baby, I Love Your Way”, “Do You Feel Like We Do” and “I’m in You”, all of which remain staples of classic rock radio. He has also appeared as himself in television series including The Simpsons, Family Guy and Madam Secretary. Frampton was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2024. Frampton was born in Beckenham, Kent, to Owen Frampton and Peggy (née Ffitch) Frampton. He attended Bromley Technical High School, where his father taught and served as head of the Art department. His interest in music began at age seven after discovering his grandmother’s banjolele in the attic. He taught himself to play it, later teaching himself guitar and piano as well. At age eight, he began taking classical music lessons.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps

Breaking All The Rules

I’m In You

All I Want To Be (Is By Your Side)

Isn’t It A Pity

Lines on my Face

I’ll Give You Money

Lying

Baby, I Love Your Way

Show Me the Way

All Eyes On You
