Lamb of God

Lamb of God is an American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1994 under the name Burn the Priest, the group includes bassist John Campbell, vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, and drummer Art Cruz. They are widely regarded as one of the key bands in the new wave of American heavy metal. Since their formation, Lamb of God has released twelve studio albums, including two issued under their original name. Their most recent release, Into Oblivion, arrived in March 2026. The band’s catalog also includes a live album, a compilation, three DVDs, two EPs and twenty‑eight singles. In the United States, Lamb of God has sold nearly two million records, with two albums earning Gold certification from the RIAA. They received Grammy nominations in 2010 and 2011 for songs from their 2009 album Wrath, and another nomination in 2016 for the track “512.” The band has toured with Ozzfest twice.
