Luca Mantovanelli

Luca Mantovanelli (born 1980s, Italy) is an Italian guitarist, educator, and session musician known for his technical fluency, stylistic versatility, and contributions to contemporary guitar education. Raised in a musical family, Mantovanelli was surrounded by instruments from an early age and developed an interest in music long before choosing the guitar as his primary instrument. Growing up in a household of musicians, Mantovanelli was exposed to a wide range of sounds and instruments. As a child he experimented with wind instruments, drums, and bass guitar, gradually building a broad musical foundation. At the age of 14, he committed fully to the guitar, teaching himself through intensive practice and exploration of different styles. Mantovanelli began performing publicly at 16, playing with local bands and swing orchestras throughout Italy. These early experiences allowed him to refine his stage presence, ensemble skills, and improvisational approach across multiple genres. During this period he also pursued classical guitar studies under Antonio De Innocentis, a respected concert pianist and educator. This classical training added depth to his technique and broadened his musical vocabulary.
