Trijntje Oosterhuis

Judith Katrijntje “Trijntje” Oosterhuis (born 5 February 1973 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch singer who first gained national recognition in the 1990s as part of Total Touch, the pop duo she formed with her brother Tjeerd Oosterhuis. She later established a successful solo career and has served as a coach on the television shows The Voice of Holland and It Takes 2. From 2012 to 2017, Oosterhuis was a member of the occasional supergroup Ladies of Soul. In 2015 she represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest, and in 2021 she portrayed the role of Mary in the Dutch television event The Passion. Oosterhuis is the daughter of theologian and former priest Huub Oosterhuis. She began performing at a young age and took her first steps in music together with her brother Tjeerd in the children’s musical Wordt er in de ruimte ook gelezen? by Marjan Berk. These early experiences marked the beginning of a lifelong career in music.
