Solution

Solution was a symphonic band from Groningen, which existed from 1970 to 1983. The band scored some modest hits with the songs Empty Faces (1977), It’s only just begun (1980) and Run away (1982). Solution was established in 1970. Originally the band played soul covers and the name was spelled as Soulution. When the musical direction changed, the name was also changed. In 1975, Gus Dudgeon, who was known as producer of the highly successful Elton John records, heard a recording of Solution while working in the studio in Canada..
