Sutej Singh is an Indian progressive rock guitarist and composer from Solan, Himachal Pradesh, recognized for developing a style that merges technical precision with a strong sense of atmosphere and narrative. His work reflects influences from prominent guitarists such as John Petrucci, David Gilmour, and Jeff Beck, yet his compositions emphasize a personal blend of cinematic dynamics, melodic clarity, and expressive phrasing. Singh first gained national and international attention with his debut album The Emerging (2018). The record reached the top position on the Apple Music India Rock Charts and featured contributions from several established musicians, including Peter Henningsson, Scott Higham, Raymond Hearne, Kylan Amos, and Gina Luciani. The album positioned him as a notable new voice in instrumental rock and introduced his music to a global audience of guitar enthusiasts. Seven years after his debut, Singh released his second full‑length album, Restless | Relentless, described by Apple Music as the work of an artist entering a renewed creative phase. While the album retains the expansive, cinematic qualities associated with his earlier work, it also marks a clear evolution in artistic identity. Tracks such as the Indian classical‑influenced “Kaadambari” and the emotive title composition highlight his interest in integrating regional musical elements with progressive rock frameworks. Over recent years, Singh has performed at numerous major Indian music festivals, including Ziro Festival, Bandland, Oddball Festival, and the long‑running Independence Rock Festival.
