On a three-man crusade to set dance floors alight , High Fade can already count Jack Black, Cypress Hill, Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, and Brad Wilk from Rage Against The Machine as fans. The band are at their best when up close and personal with audiences.
High Fade erupted onto the scene in 2018, founded by frontman and guitarist Harry Valentino. What began as a constantly evolving project in their formative years has since exploded into one of the most exciting and talked-about independent bands in modern funk-rock.
Armed with viral breakout tracks like “Burnt Toast & Coffee”, “Gossip”, “Burnin” and a relentless stream of fan-favourite releases, High Fade have carved out a lane entirely of their own.
With well over 1,500 shows under their belt, and relentless touring across the UK, USA, Europe and beyond, the band has built a reputation the old-school way — onstage, night after night, winning over crowds through sheer force of performance.
Their rise hasn’t been gradual; it’s been explosive. From three performances in a single day at Glastonbury, to closing major stages at Boomtown Festival, and multiple sold-out tours across the UK, Europe and the USA, High Fade’s live credentials are undeniable.
For a band that started busking and gigging on the streets of their native Edinburgh, the ascent has been nothing short of meteoric. Sonically, High Fade are untouchable. Drawing from funk, rock, disco, jazz, metal, punk and soul, their sound is a high-octane collision of genres — tight, aggressive, groove-heavy and impossible to categorise.
That DIY mentality paid off in a huge way. Their debut album, Life’s Too Fast, arrived to massive anticipation and charted independently in the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA and Australia — an extraordinary achievement for three musicians operating entirely outside the major-label system.
The band are now backed by two of the world’s leading booking agencies: Wasserman Music (USA) and Arcade Talent (UK) — a testament to their unstoppable momentum on the global touring circuit.
