Greta Van Fleet

Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band formed in Frankenmuth, Michigan, in 2012. The band consists of vocalist Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka, bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka, and drummer Danny Wagner. The Kiszka brothers include twins Josh and Jake. Greta Van Fleet signed with Lava Records in March 2017, and one month later released their debut studio EP, Black Smoke Rising. Their debut single, “Highway Tune,” topped the Billboard U.S. Mainstream Rock and Active Rock charts for four consecutive weeks in September 2017. Their second EP, From the Fires, which included the four tracks from Black Smoke Rising plus four new songs, was released on November 10, 2017, along with the single “Safari Song.” From the Fires won the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. Their debut full‑length studio album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, was released on October 19, 2018, and topped the Billboard Rock Albums chart in its first week. The album’s lead single, “When the Curtain Falls,” released in July 2018, became the band’s third number‑one single on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Anthem of the Peaceful Army also debuted at number one on the Billboard Hard Rock chart and the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. A second studio album, The Battle at Garden’s Gate, followed on April 16, 2021, and their third studio album, Starcatcher, was released on July 21, 2023.
